This is a list of members that belong to the Long Island Doula Association, Inc. Members understand and agree with the intention, concepts and ideals expressed in our mission statement and doula philosophy.
If you are interested in interviewing any of our members, please feel free to call or e-mail them. Members have varying levels of experience and are independent contractors; as independent contractors they cannot be held responsible for the actions of other doula or childbirth professionals.
Each member is unique. We suggest that you contact several to find one that best meets your needs and personality. Fees are determined individually and are usually based upon experience. The fee's range anywhere from $700.00 to $1,600.00 for Labor Doulas and $30.00 to $35.00 per hour for Postpartum Doulas. For non-doula services please contact the member for their fee.
The Long Island Doula Association invites all individuals interested in the well being of pregnant and postpartum women to join our association. Contact Jennifer Cardinale at inadoulascare@aol.com for a LIDA membership application or for more information.
Since LIDA, Inc. does not have professional experience with all of the individuals listed on our website we recommend you interview, check credentials, experience levels and references before hiring a doula, childbirth educator or any Healthcare provider listed on this site.
