Birth DOula Training WOrkshop
Women have been supporting laboring women in childbirth for centuries. Studies show the presence of a doula during birth positively impacts the birthing process.
About the Workshop and Trainer
Celeste Rachell has been training doulas on Long Island since 2001. Her workshops are interactive and informative in a warm and welcoming environment. You will learn about your role during each of the stages of labor, comfort measures, positioning and massage techniques, providing emotional support to the entire family, hospital protocols, and your role in the early postpartum period. The certification course will also include business strategies, how to build your clientele and connecting to your birth community.
