Service Description

More often than not, all a laboring person needs to birth safely and joyfully is information, confidence and support. In this two day intensive childbirth education certification training you will learn, amongst many other things: · Self-Advocacy · The anatomy, physiology and language of labor and birth · Pregnancy nutrition and exercise · Pain reducing techniques and coping strategies · The history and contemporary practice of labor and birth · Interpersonal communication techniques and concepts · Classroom management and facilitation · The “business” of educating and promoting your classes A 2 day workshop with Gail Janicola to become a Childbirth Educator. - Complimentary LIDA membership for the remainder of the fiscal year, with access to LIDA's client referral database. (*complimentary membership are not eligible for additional discounts or scholarships)

To cancel this booking, please contact ASAP. If canceled 11+ days before class, there is 90% refund. If canceled within 10 days of training, there is a 50% refund. Within 48 hours, there is NO refund. There is always the option to use your credit for future trainings.
