What is a Tongue Tie?
A tongue-tie is when the normally loosely attached piece of skin between the underside of a baby's tongue and the floor of their mouth is unusually short and tight.
It restricts the tongue's movement and can sometimes affect the baby's feeding, making it hard for them to attach properly to their mother's breast.
